Title:  CNJ 1000
Description:  Considered to be the first sucessful diesel locomotive to be operated by a large railroad in the United States, CNJ 1000 was used mainly in yard service before being retired to the B&O Museum. The unit was built by Alco, GE and Ingersoll Rand.

Description:  The only CNJ camelback preserved and one of only two survivng CNJ steam locomotives sits on display inside the old B&O Museum roundhouse. The man in the photo is my uncle and a former Bayonne resident that grew up watching 592 and many other CNJ steamers.
